Emily and Sean chose to get married at the beautiful Abbots Court located in Winterborne Kingston, Dorset. Surrounded by acres of countryside, this venue has exclusive-use of the country estate and offers an elegant yet relaxed setting where you can celebrate in total privacy, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and timeless charm.
Emily and Sean were lucky enough to have the sun shining all day for their wedding. Their ceremony was set in the beautiful walled gardens under the pergola (check out the amazing heart shaped tree in the background!). We created two extra full and bloomy pillars to frame the happy couple during their I do's and simple ribbon bows lined the aisle. Emily Spink wedding an events singer e.ssinging sang the bridal party down the aisle and provided such beautiful entertainment.
Emily looked absolutely stunning in her Lauren Francis Bridal gown and her hair and makeup was done by Tara Sanger Makeup and Grace Bailey Bridal Hair. The bridal party had the most stunning bouquets and buttonholes by Ellie from Dorset Flowers and not forgetting that gorgeous flower crown for Emily and Sean's daughter!
Emily and Seans day was captured so perfectly by Emine.Weddings. The way the peachy pink tones were captured in such natural light is so beautiful. They also had a content creator Backstage Bridesmaids and videographer Pittstopfilmsweddings who both captured amazing memories and moments throughout the whole day.
After the Ceremony was the drinks reception, and there is so much space at this venue to keep everyone busy, the walled gardens have various seating options, an outside bar and giant chess. There's also a sheltered courtyard area with another bar, fire pits and tonnes of fairy lights. There's somewhere for everyone, come rain or shine!
Whilst the guests were enjoying the drinks receptions, the bridal party sneaked away to do the popular champagne tower- so much fun for all involved and some beautiful photos and videos too. The bridesmaids wore beautiful dresses from Maids to Measure, they were the perfect muted peach tone to perfectly compliment all the decor.
As the afternoon started coming to the end, the guests all came into the pavilion for the wedding breakfast. We styled this with tones of colours, funky shapes and a few disco balls here and there! Each round table had a tall gold plinth with a large floral display on- high enough up for guests to see through to the other side of the table (no anti-social table decorations here!) Each place setting had one of our firm favourite gold beaded charger plates, peachy linen napkin, a tassel place name with the cutest mini disco balls and a custom wavy shape menu to match the wavy seating plan. The floral pillars from the ceremony were moved to frame the newlyweds behind the top table and bud vases, candles and low floral displays lined the front of the table. They had a fantastic menu created by Molecular Magic - an immersive and creative experience with delicious flavours through every course.
Emily thought so much about all the tiny details of the day, we worked together to design all the bespoke signage for the day- everything matching that peachy wavy vibe, nothing was missed!
As the evening drew in, the party started! The DJ Cyndeoevents set the vibe of the evening with Kyrisax adding that extra entertainment on the sax.
What a wedding! It was an absolute honour to be involved with Emily and Sean's day and we are so pleased they chose us to be a part of it!
We are also a recommended supplier at Abbots Court and can't wait to show you everything else we've done their and what's to come in the future.
